Geopolitical Intelligence Services offer a range of geopolitical analysis consultancy services and serve key diplomats, officials, and business representatives. One of the company’s business offshoots is the GISReportsOnline service with paid downloadable reports. However, monetising and scaling the growth of the portal to make the business model independent and actively support building an engaged reader base became a challenge.
Uxeria’s role was to analyse the current site in detail, examine customer insights and benchmarks, and then work with the project team (including Prince Michael of Liechtenstein) to develop the functional premises of the site. Subsequently, Uxeria was responsible for designing and implementing the website (Django implemented on the client’s side).

One of the main observations of the service was the inadequate communication of the main advantage of the product - the fact that the reports are written by diplomats at the centre of events, not external observers. This was highlighted with a prominent introductory text and a list of expert photos.
Easy browsing of the experts' profiles was critical. We made searching easier through contextual filters, and enriched the expert business card itself by adding a summary of the topics and countries they specialised in.
Until now, the site allowed for content exploration mainly through countries and four thematic categories. We proposed a significant expansion of the exploration models with a new thematic classification: Disruptions. These are international topics that concern many: e.g. COVID-19, the US-China trade war, etc.
We created an intelligent search engine that indexes content precisely and allows users to search in a variety of ways and models.
We added a new sales product - the bundle. These are product sets consisting of several reports with a discount. They constitute an element of the company's range acquisition policy.
We streamlined the purchasing process - now the report can be purchased in two clicks. In addition, we have handled the incognito purchase paths in a logical and comprehensive way.
